The Conference city Bucharest

Bucharest, the capital of Romania and the bigest cities in Romania, is located in South-Eastern part of the country, on the banks of Dambovita, a tributary of Danube (that is situated at about 65 km).

Bucharest is an important historical and cultural centre, but also an economic one, historically mentioned in XV century. The city is modeled after several architectural shapes, each of them leaving its mark on the existence of the city.

The main attractions are the architectural, cultural and religious ones (ex. The Justice Palace-1864, The Royal Palace-1935, Romanian Atheneum-1889, Central University Library-1893, The Arch of Triumph-1920, Antim Monastery-1920, Patriarchal Church-1665), but we must not forget the parks with green oases, the most important are: Cismigiu (1847), Herastrau (1936-in Northern part of the capital), Carol Park (1906) and more recently, Izvor Park after 1990, near the House of Parliament.

Today, Bucharest is a city full of life, light and continuous development, which invites you to discover it.
